We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Family Services Team lead to oversee the Family Services element of our Integrated Early Help 0-19 Early Help Service.
Hours:37
Salary :£27,814 – £35,728
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of Family Practitioners who deliver Intensive Family Support, facilitate Family Time (formally known as Supervised Contact) and who support the delivery of Evidence Based Parenting Programmes
The right candidate will be educated to a degree level, have a background in family support, social work, mental health or education with experience of supervising staff.
Professional and resilient, they will be experienced in safeguarding and case management. Above all they will be passionate about improving the life chances for our most vulnerable children and families.
It is essential that applicants have access to their own vehicle for which mileage will be paid.
We offer a “hybrid” model of working, therefore the successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage their working day between home and our Family Hub’s situated across the Island.

About Barnardo's IOW Family Centres
Since April 2015 Barnardo’s have been delivering the Integrated Early Help contract for Family Centres and Intensive Family Support and were awarded a new contract starting from April 2021 which extended the previous service offer.
The IOW Early Help Service covers three geographical localities: West and Central Wight, North East Wight and South Wight and is supported by an Island wide Service administrator, and a team of Receptionists/Information officers and data officers based in Locality Hub Family Centres.
