Ryde School seeks to appoint a full time Head of English to work in the senior section of the School (KS3 to Sixth Form) and to be fully involved in this successful and busy Department, both in the classroom and through co-curricular activities associated with the discipline, such as creative writing and journalism.
This is a great opportunity for someone who shares our belief that English, as well as being an important academic subject, offers students the chance to find their own voice and develop into confident individuals, able to think and communicate clearly and effectively.
