Overview

Introduce our young guests to the basics of sailing by leading group taster sessions. We’re looking for someone to join us in February 2018 at Little Canada, our activity centre on the Isle of Wight.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join PGL and we will put you straight through the relevant qualification to become a PGL Sailing Instructor. To qualify you will already need to hold your Seamanship Award.

Once your training is complete, you’ll be responsible for your group of guests whilst on session, teaching them the key aspects of sailing whilst inspiring, motivating and reassuring them on the water.

We’re looking for individuals with lots of energy, enthusiasm and the ability to relate to our young guests. This role is varied as you’ll also be trained to also lead some of our core activities sessions such as climbing, archery and orienteering as well as sometimes helping to organise and participate in evening entertainment activities. You’ll receive comprehensive training to give you the skills, expertise and confidence carry out every aspect of your job to a high standard. PGL operate on the Isle of Wight using a fleet of Keelboats.
