REQUIRED FOR SEPTEMBER 2020.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist who want to develop their career, skills and knowledge by working in a specialist educational setting for 7 – 19 year olds. The school also has a Post 19 provision with therapy support. You will enjoy the chance to work within a supportive team with a small but complex caseload, where you will be able to strongly develop your assessment and intervention skills. You will work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team of teachers, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, learning support assistants and care staff, with class groups, smaller groups and with individual children. If you believe you can help our students to fulfil their potential at school, at home and in their communities and are looking for a fresh challenge or getting started on your career, then this role may be just what you are looking for.

Applicants should be highly motivated and passionate about supporting students with SLCN to access education and to develop their functional communication skills.
Applicants must be registered with HCPC and RCSLT and have experience or an interest in working with;
• Children with complex communication difficulties
• Learning difficulties
• ASD, ADHD and social communication difficulties
• The implementation of AAC including signing.

Salary details: Starting at £24,372 per annum but salary will be commensurate with experience
